Recruitment Process


RICHI has extensive experience in recruitment services. We work closely with our clients to search for the best candidates in the market.

Understand Our Clients

RICHI understands our clients' business, background and culture. We contact our clients on a regular basis and arrange visits to establish a close working relationship.

Job Orders

We accept job orders by phone, email or fax. A detailed job specification is helpful in selecting the right candidate. We will contact our clients to confirm the details of the order to ensure that we understand their requirements.

Searching Process

Our consultants will search our extensive database for suitable candidates. Our database contains thousands of candidates' records. Apart from searching from our database, we advertise regularly in various media including internet and newspaper, such as jobsDB, SCMP, Recruit etc. We will update our internet recruitment account within the same day or one day upon receipt of the job vacancies.

Candidate referrals are also one of our best resources in filling the vacancies.

Candidate Screening

All the applications and CVs are screened carefully by our consultants and they are indexed according to the relevant categories. We must invite candidates for personal interview if they are found to meet with our clients' job requirements. Initial screening will be conducted to speed up the selection process.

Short-listing Method

We will assess the candidates in accordance to our clients' requests, and in particular to the priority in skills and experience required. Our primary principles are only those of good attitude and integrity will be referred.

Interview Process

Personal interview is conducted with every candidate in our office. We will not refer any candidate whom we have not interviewed. Tests are given and correspond to the jobs they are applying for. PC skills, role play, written tests are the most frequently given tests. If candidates are considered suitable for the job, a general description of the job will be advised. During the interview, consultants will check their references, certificates against CVs provided.

Preparing the Candidate

After the first interview, we will prepare the candidate's CV for client referral. General comments on the candidate's personality, skills and experiences will be remarked.

Referrals are made to clients. Interviews are arranged. Briefing of clients and job requirements will be communicated to candidates. We will collect feedback and comments from both our clients and candidates.

Reference checks

Reference letters and certificates are copied and checked against originals. Reference checks with successful candidates will be conducted as per clients' contract requirement.

Job Offers

If an offer is made, we will brief the candidate about the contract details. We can also assist in preparing the contracts of employment based on the agreement with our clients.

Client Communications and Report

We will confirm the other details with clients by phone and / or email. Placed candidates are advised to contact us after joining the company. If there is any clarification or problems arise, we will communicate with clients and candidates to get a mutual understanding. Upon staff termination, we will collect termination reason and update job requirements for future reference.


No fee is incurred until the offer is made and confirmed. The fee schedule will be provided upon request.

Follow up

We will take care of any problems, enquiries and requests. Cases and requests will be discussed, if necessary, for improvements.

For permanent placement:

We will contact the candidates in the first month to review their situation in the placed company.

For contract and temporary placement:

During the last week of every month or at the completion of the temporary assignment, our HR & Payroll Assistant will call all contract and temporary staff reminding them to send in timesheet on time for payroll processing. This also serves as the monthly checking and communications.


We carefully select the right candidates and monitor the progress of the placed candidates. If any party terminates the employment within the guarantee period, RICHI will provide a free replacement or refund 50% of the fee paid by the client. Clients should make the request in writing within one week of the applicant's termination of employment.
